Typical Twin Falls Idaho

SCROLL COVER HEDDERknyte flyte

Might have well said, no big events here , no matter the type. City Police Chief of Twin Falls, was a deciding piece, as the City of Twin Falls put the axe for a time to the an attempted jump of the Snake River Canyon here in Twin Falls. The big thing is old Big Ed will still jump using private property so he says, but I suspect that those involved will find a way to thwart that as well.

The city of Twin Falls does not want growth of any time. You have read my blogs in all editions of  HazzardAyre regarding this, but from infrastructure to load carrying capability, Twin Falls says no, even though many will say welcome the real definition is, not here. I would suggest to Big Ed, jump the Canyon, but do it near Buhl, or over by Hazzard, then much more support would be extended.

Twin Falls is scared to death of anything new coming here, this has been the case for nearly 25 years,. Hell even we as a group had a big headache bringing an event as a CB Trucker jamboree/Hazzard Nationals here in 1975 although not called the Hazzard Nationals then the event was the starting point.

We turned over 200,000 through the gates at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds in Filer then. Today such an event would quadruple that. But would never be allowed. The valley could grow, but the sad thing is, it takes all too many city council and county commissioners that are too long in the tooth, to die off to gain any momentum. Any more of a reason that the Knytes are moving to Utah? More overnight but I thought I’d pass that along.

If you really want to do something, you will find a way. If you don't, you will find an excuse.
