Well the Daytona 500 is a bust. For 2014 which I had predicted it might be considering the wet end of winter.
This brings me to the question and I’d like your opinion on this. Should America’s race the Daytona 500 be moved two or three months further into the season? Say like early April or early May. Sure this might be a altering situation that might upset a few other races and tracks, but with the last several Daytona 500’s rained out, wouldn’t it be better just to swap a race somewhere and have the start of the season, be in a month that weather is not as likely to be a factor?
So with that, the poll question, is: Should the Daytona 500 be moved to April or May, rather than trying to stage a race that seems to constantly get rained out.
